Spherack Online started off as an experiment by Andrew to get into programming network games so he’d have a better idea of what to do for another game he was developing known as “Ossirian.” The original Spherack Online was developed in five days and then released to the public. However, those who played the game enjoyed it, and so Andrew decided to cancel “Ossirian” and re-build Spherack, fixing many bugs, lag issues, and completely revamping gameplay.
If you feel like actually bothering with this, you can download the original Spherack Online by clicking here. Just keep in mind it’s uber old and very disfunctional for the most part. Try out Spherack 2 when you’re done with this, maybe?
Gameplay…
The whole big idea of gameplay in the original Spherack was attackand defend, explosives gameplay. The “Spheran” team would have to defend their base (or computer, whatever you want to call it) and the “Eradian” team has to get to it and plant Windows 95 (the bomb) on it. I’m not holding anything against Windows 95, the whole using it as a bomb idea was just for plain lulz. Also, this game as opposed to the modern versions that use W,A,S,D, is controlled using the arrow-keys.
